Our Bushel of Hope program launched in 2024 after volunteer Craig Calhoun had a simple but powerful idea. Living in beautiful Sussex County, we are surrounded by incredible local farms. At Benny’s Bodega, we’ve always believed in doing things differently—creating an experience that is better, more welcoming, and truly impactful for the families we serve. But what if we could take that support even further?

What if the individuals and families who shop at the Bodega could regularly access fresh, healthy, farm-grown food?

Thanks to the generosity of our local farming community, that vision became reality.
