Benjamin “Benny” Davey is a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) having obtained his masters degree in social work from Fordham University in 2015. Benjamin maintains a private counseling practice, It starts Today, where he was named Counselor of the Year for Newton, NJ in 2023. He also has an extensive social work background, having spent the last seventeen years of his career in child protection, working in various capacities/leadership positions. Benjamin’s passion for helping people and social work background, led to creation of Bennys Bodega.

In his free time, Benny can be found with his wife, Heather, and his two children, Lily and Carter.

Benjamin enjoys volunteering his time coaching both his children basketball teams and most recently in 2023, he was one of five finalists for Jr. Knicks Coach of the Year. Benjamin’s coaching success accumulated in both his teams playing in a primetime scrimmage in Madison Square Garden. His family, and desire to help others, are Benjamin’s two greatest passions.

Heather Davey has successfully started and run two successful businesses, one being a women’s clothing boutique, where she empowered and encouraged woman to be more comfortable within themselves.

She has received various accolades, including being in top 5% of clothing sales in NJ from 2019-2023.

Heather has demonstrated a passion to positively impact her community, with no better example then her social media and fundraising work done at Bennys Bodega.

Most importantly, Heather is a devoted mother of two children, Lily and Carter and wife to Benny. She spends all her free time ensuring her children are thriving, happy and are active participants within the community.

Terri was born and raised in Morristown, NJ before moving to Sussex County 34 years ago. She has two amazing daughters along with two fantastic Son's in Laws, all very successful. Her 4 grandchildren are the light in her life and her greatest joy is spending time with them.

Terri has worked for The Optical Center for 26 years as their Human Resource Director and bookkeeper. She is also co-owner of R & T Nautilus Fitness Center.

Born and raised in Lafayette, NJ Betsy has returned to her hometown after retiring from a 44 year career in nursing. Educated at Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing, Union County College, and Bloomfield College Betsy’s career spanned many roles, the latest being Assistant Hospital Administrator at Cornerstone Behavioral Health Hospital of Union County. In addition to working full time Betsy embraced her passion for working in the field of addictions by serving 10 years as a Peer Facilitator for NJ’s Peer Assistance Program working with nurses enrolled in the Recovery and Monitoring Program of New Jersey.

Now enjoying retirement Betsy spends her time with family and friends plus quilting, gardening, volunteering at the Bodega and at Father John’s Animal House.

Mark and his partner Jim have resided in Newton, NJ since 2001. Mr. Raab graduated from Bloomsburg University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. For the past 15 years, Mr. Raab has worked in the aviation industry as the Corporate Controller for Saker Aviation Services, Inc. In addition to the Bodega, Mr. Raab also serves as a Trustee for One Step Closer Animal Rescue (O.S.C.A.R.), a local non-profit that operates an animal shelter in Hopatcong, NJ. Mark and his partner recently welcomed Hatcher, a one year old Beagle mix rescue, to their home.
